Business mission network

The Vista Group http://www.vista.al/ is a new partnership bringing together the talents of two key business players in the Albanian market. They are targeting a number of industries, but are initially focusing on real estate development. Grant Van Cleve is an American trained in business at the Wharton Business School with a specialization in Real Estate.

Grant's family owns a major Southern California home builder, Empire Homes: http://www.empirehomes.com/ in addition, Grant has 13 years experience as a traditional church-planting missionary and field-based missions leader. In 2004, Grant came back to his business roots, introducing a kingdom company when the market was ready for it. Mimi
Kruja is an Albanian economist & banker, helping lead the micro finance bank, PShM. Mr. Kruja has a national level expertise in marketing. The Christian commitment of Grant and Mimi have inspired the company's non-profit work as well as that of the business. They desire to develop business in Albania with integrity, sacrifice, care for their clients, and respect for the law.

The real estate project is focused on serving a niche market within Albania . They have purchased 38,000 square meters of land on a hill south of
Tirana (Fark 'county') and secured permission for building 55 large, high-quality single family homes ('villas') within a secured residential community. They also have purchase another 100,000 m2 for 6 future projects.

The project is uniquely positioned to serve a high-caliber set of clients (both foreign and Albanian) because of its picturesque location, views, security, sense of community, and outstanding quality in a land known for shoddy construction. Access by road is improving quickly, and a master plan which passed Planning Commission in February 2006 designated such areas for low-density single-family homes. Land prices are already increasing based on this potential. The combination of quality, location, and Vista's potential to attract selected clients make this a project worth investing in, or a place to make home.

With a passion to connect more people to the growing movement of Business as Mission this Network was started in early 2006. By providing news and information to over 5000 leaders on various resources and companies we hope to inspire and connect others to opportunities to get involved.

My wife, Sharee and I live in Allen, Texas and are actively involved at Allen Bible Church. We're also thrilled that we will be expecting a new addition to our family in just a couple of months.
