Soft Skin Secret Launches

The original cream was created in 1957 by pharmacist Yoshikiyo Nowatari, as an over the counter medical product that treated severely dry skin, including dermatitis and eczema. His unique medicated formulation was glycerin based (approximately 40%), rather than petroleum, and contained Vitamins E and B2, and camphor. These ingredients, along with other natural elements, are contained in these new products, which were developed in response to customer demand.

Loyal Yu-Be users have long been asking that this product, their favorite cream – used on elbow, heels, knees and other dry or problem spots – become a lotion. Yu-Be’s Moisturizing Body Lotion is just that! The non-greasy formula is smooth and easy to apply, absorbs instantly and works for hours to hydrate and retain moisture in dry skin. Yu-Be’s high glycerin content softens, heals, smoothes and hydrates tender skin.

Of course, the first step of the moisturizing process is exfoliating. In the traditional Japanese bathing ritual, or “Ofuro”, the body is scrubbed and rinsed, then submerged to the neck in a hot soaking tub. The scrubbing away of stress and dead skin cells combined with the soaking improves the body’s circulation while allowing deep relaxation and tranquility.

Yu-Be’s new Foaming Skin Polish is the important first step in achieving both healthy, hydrated skin and a more luxurious and relaxing bath time. The Japanese formula contains fine grains of rice bran and bamboo along with gentle cleansing agents to create a rich foaming scrub that washes away dead skin. Extracts of ginger root and ginseng tone and balance the skin, while green tea, geranium oil and camphor provide a soothing, refreshing sensation.
